All-Purpose Marinade
ingredients
- 1 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1 sprig fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 2 small cloves garlic, peeled and finely chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
directions
Put all ingredients in jar with screw-top lid. Cover and shake thoroughly. Then allow mixture to stand at room temperature 30 minutes for flavors to develop. Use to marinate chicken, meat or fish for barbecuing.
