Sauce Cheese (simple version)
ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour & 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
directions
In med saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, dry mustard, salt & pepper. Cook over low heat; stirring constantly until smooth & bubbly. Gradually add milk. Cook until boiling. Boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted.
