Appetizer - MARINATED Sherry SHRIMP

ingredients
- 3 lbs shrimp
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup sherry
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp Tabasco
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced

Boil and peel shrimp, but leave on the tails. Lay shrimp in a flat dish.

Mix next 7 ingredients and pour over shrimp, adding sliced onion and lemon. Cover and refrigerate for 2 days, stirring frequently.

Pour off marinade and remove lemons. Serve with toothpicks.

This can also be used as a main dish with salad and bread.
