Green Beans and Bacon

ingredients

  • 2 cans of regular green beans
  • 1 medium onion cut into rings
  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 6 tbsp. of vinegar
  • 6 tbsp. of sugar

directions

    Drain beans and put in casserole dish.

  • 2

    Place seperated onion rings over beans.

  • 3

    Fry bacon and save drippings. Cut strips and lay over onion rings. Add sugar and vinegar to bacon drippings and heat. Pour over casserole. Marinate several hours or overnite. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
