Yummy for snuggling up by the fire! (be careful with the pepper flakes!)

ingredients

  • 1 lb italian sausage--cooked and crumbled (1 pack veggie sausage)
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 cups potatoes washed and sliced (not peeled)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 chicken bullion cubes (vegetable)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 container bacon bits (fake bacon)
  • cream/milk
  • kale
  • flour

directions

Cook all ingredients but milk/cream and kale until potatoes are tender. Add a few teaspoons flour and milk/cream until right consistency (add equal parts cream and milk). Then add the washed and drained kale, avoiding adding the stalk. Finally, season again with crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper.
