Cheesy Potato Casserole

ingredients

  • (1) 2 lb. bag of Ore Ida Southern Style Hash Brown Potatoes
  • (1) 8 oz, bag of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can crm. of chicken soup
  • 1 pint of sour cream
  • 1 small onion (1/2 cup chopped onion)
  • 1 1/3 cups crushed corn flakes

directions

  • 1

    - thaw potatoes

  • 2

    - mix sour cream and cream of chicken soup in a bowl

  • 3

    - add salt, pepper and shredded cheese into sour cream mixture

  • 4

    - place thawed potatoes in a large bowl or pot

  • 5

    - add chopped onions on top

  • 6

    - add 1/2 stick melted butter

  • 7

    - sour cream mix

  • 8

    - mix it all together

  • 9

    - place into baking pan

  • 10

    - melt 1/2 stick of butter with the corn flakes and sprinkle on top of casserole

  • 11

    - bake at 350 for 45 minutes until bublling throughout
