Double Chocolate Cookies
ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 6 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 oz. semisweet morsels
- 6 oz. white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cloves in a medium bowl. Melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat, add bittersweet chocolate, and set aside until melted.

Whisk eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla in a bowl, then slowly whisk in chocolate. Stir in flour mixture. Fold in chips. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 hours.

Form dough into balls. Bake 13-15 minutes.
