Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie
ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 lb. rhubarb
- 1/2 pint strawberries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 Tblsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 - 1 cup half & half

Line pie plate with crust. Skin, clean and cut rhubarb into quarter inch pieces directly into the pie plate. Clean and cut berries into quarters on top of rhubarb. In a bow, cream sugar and egg yolks. Add cornstarch and blend. Add cream and beat well.

Pour mixture over rhubarb and berries. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until custard is brown and set.
