Suzanne's Butterfinger Bars
ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light syrup
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 4-5 cups crushed corn flakes (5-6 cups out of box)
- 6oz chocolate chips

Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup light syrup. Heat to melt--DO NOT BOIL.

Stir in 2 cups peanut butter, and then 4-5 cups crushed corn flakes. Mix into syrup.

Spread 6 oz melted chocolate morsels like frosting (double broiler). Chill to set pan.
notes
Full batch makes 9x13 pan; half batch fills 8x8 pan. Can also sprinkle crushed Butterfinger bar candy on top while chocolate is still wet.
