Park Avenue Stuffed French Toast
ingredients
- 1 loaf of white bread (egg bread is great if you can find it)
- 8 eggs
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 3/4 cup syrup (maple type)
- 6 tbs. melted butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Cube bread; layer half in “seasoned” 9x13 baking dish.

Cut cream cheese into 16 squares and scatter over the bread.

Cover with remaining bread cubes.

Mix all remaining ingredients and pour over the bread.

Press bread to soak up mixture.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake covered (foil) at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Serve with warm maple syrup.
