Fabuloso Fudge Brownies

ingredients

  • 1/2 C almond meal
  • 1/4 C brown rice flour
  • 6 Tbs cocoa powder
  • 1/3 tsp tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 C agave nectar
  • 1/2 C prune puree
  • 1/2 C each chopped nuts and chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Combine almond meal, flour, cocoa, baking soda and powder. Set aside.Combine egg whites, agave nectar, prune puree, tamari and vanilla. Beat until pale in colour.

    Add the wet to the dry ingredients and stir well to combine. Fold in nuts and chocolate chips.

    Pour into a greased and parchment paper lined 8 x 8 inch pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
