Barbecue Chicken Wings
Slow cook the wings, and finish off on the grill for crispy, “falling off the bone” barbecue wings.
ingredients
- 2 c. ketchup
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Tabasco sauce
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- salt & pepper to taste
- 30 chicken wings (tips removed and split)
- scallions (for garnish)

1) Preheat oven to 250°F
- 2
2) In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except for the wings and scallions. Cook over med-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes. Do not boil.

3) Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and toss with 1 1/2 c. of the prepared sauce.

4) Lay the pieces in 1 or 2 glass baking dishes. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Finish off on the grill to give them a tasty, crispy texture.
