- 1/4 cup sour cream, room temp
- 1 package active yeast
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 sticks cold butter, cut in small pieces
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- Sugar Glaze
- 1 cup confectioner sugar
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 2 ts light corn syrup
- 2 1/2 tbs milk

1. Preheat oven to 400. Have ready 2 baking sheets. Combine sour cream and yeast. Set aside until slightly creamy- about 10 min. Using a rubber spatula stir in egg until smooth. Set aside.

2. Cut butter into flour until is resembles coarse meal. Stir in sour cream mixture until dough comes together.

3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to a 1/4 inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter cut out rounds. Transfer to cookie sheet, cover with towel or plastic wrap, stand for 15 min.

4. Make a tumbprint in the center. Fill with 1 teaspoon preserves. Bake until golden- 12 to 15 min. Cool for 5 min. While warm drizzle with sugar glaze.

1. Combine sugar and butter. Add corn syrup stirring to combine. Drizzle in milk a little at a time until the glaze has runny consistency. Use immediately.
