  • 2 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 can (16 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice
  • 2 cans (16 oz) sliced button mushrooms, drained (I use bits and pieces)
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 pkg farfalle (bowtie pasta) May also use wide egg noodles.

    Brown sausage, breaking up as you cook it. Drain. Add all but noodles. Stir well. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, cook farfalle, drain and place in serving dish. Add up to 1/2 stick butter, stir, coating noodles.

    You can cover the noodles with the sausage mixture or serve them separately.
