Sharon's Holiday Mashed Potatoes
A rich, heart-attack-waiting-to-happen recipe, but I only do it once a year. From Sheila Lukens.
ingredients
- • red potatoes, semi-peeled and divided
- • 1 stick butter
- • 12 oz. cream cheese
- • 3/4 cup sour cream
- • roasted garlic
- • salt, pepper to taste
- • chopped green onions
directions

Keep some skin on the red potatoes for nutrients and color. Boil the potatoes until tender. Drain.

Place potatoes in bowl and cut butter, cream cheese into small pieces, adding with pastry cutter. Beat until light and fluffy as desired. Beat in sour cream and season with garlic, salt, peppr, and even nutmeg, if desired.

Keep in crock pot on low heat until ready to serve.
