Wienie RumakiKaren Seavers
Heart attack on a toothpick, but oh so good.

- 1 pound cocktail wieners
- 9-12 oz bacon (not thick sliced)
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar
Wrap each weiner in one third strip bacon, spearing with a toothpick and place in single layer inlarge glass casserole dish. When casserole is full, sprinkle generously with brown sugar. May bake at this point or cover and refrigerate.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until sugar is well dissolved and bacon is cooked.
Cut bacon in thirds and separate while still cold. I usually make 3 pounds wieners with 3 (12 oz) pkgs bacon.
