This egg and cheese strata is delightful and all the work is done the night before.

ingredients

Casserole
  • 12 sliced white bread
  • 1/2 to 1 lb velveeta processed cheese food sliced in 1/4" slices
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp dry mustard powder
  • 4-5 dashes worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
Bacon Topping
  • 1 pound crisp cooked bacon (crumble half the bacon into small bits to sprinkle over the top of each serving just before eating) Serve rest of bacon on the side.
