Garlic-Marinated Flank Steak
The longer the flank steak marinates, the better the flavor!
ingredients
- 1 1/4 to 1-1/2 lb flank steak
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
directions
- 1
Combine the garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, oregano and pepper in a Ziploc bag and mix well. Add the flank steak and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 10 hours, turning occasionally.
- 2
Drain, reserving the marinade if serving as an entree. Strain the reserved marinade into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Drizzle over the sliced steak.
- 3
Prepare the grill for medium heat. Grill the steak for 5 to 10 minutes per side or until medium rare.
