Sugar and Nut-Glazed Brie
ingredients
- 2 T. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 T. Coarsely chopped almonds or pecans
- 1 1/2 tsp. brandy
- 1 firm whole brie cheese
- Crackers and apples
directions
Scrape majority of rind from Brie using a sharp knife. Stir together the sugar, nuts and brandy. Place cheese in a baking dish and bake at 425 just until cheese softens about 6 minutes. Sprinkle sugar mixture evenly over cheese and bake until sugar melts, 3 to 5 minutes longer. Serve with crackers and apple slices.
