Sausage Stromboli SandwichPamela Fear

- 2 lbs breakfast sausage (hot, mild, or a mixture)
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 14 oz can stewed tomatoes with seasonings
- Italian seasoning to taste
- shredded mozzarella or sliced provolone
- Italian rolls
Cook and crumble sausage, then drain. Add tomato paste,stewed tomatoes, and seasoning. Break up tomatoes with spoon while stirring. Simmer until sausage is cooked through, 10-15 minutes. Serve on Italian rolls with cheese. Cover with wax paper and microwave to melt cheese, if desired.
Basically an Italian sloppy joe.
