Farm House Macaroni and Cheese
A family favorite for years!
ingredients
- 1 LB. Sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 LB. elbow macaroni
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
directions
Turn macaroni into a buttered dish and toss with butter. Add 3-3 1/2 cups shredded cheese and toss. Mix eggs,milk, salt and pepper.Pour over macaroni. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake @325 for 30 minutes.
notes
Sometimes I add mozzarella to the cheddar and I usually add more cheese than called for.
