Sour Cream Pound Cake

  • 2 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 6 Eggs
  • 3 cup Sifted Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Orange Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

    In a mixing bowl, cream together sugar and butter till light and fluffy.

    Add eggs 1 at a time beating well after each egg.

    Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream beating each addition.

    Add extracts, beat well.

    Grease and flour a 10” tube pan

  • 6

    Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours

    Cool 15 minutes

  • 8

    Remove from pan and sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
