Breakfast Casserole (Egg and Hashbrown w/ Ham or Sausage)
Great make-ahead casserole for when family and friends visit... or if you simply do not want to cook in the morning! This is one of two breakfast casserole recipies in this cookbook... this receipe includes eggs.
ingredients
- 1 package shredded hash browns
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1 lb cooked & crumbled sausage or diced ham
- 8-10 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
directions

Soften and blend the cream cheese and butter.

Layer ingredients in order in a 13x9 in baking dish.

Can refrigerate over night or send straight to oven.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 for about 45 minutes. Let stand a few minutes for eggs to settle. Cut and serve with spatula.
