Steak Salad with Blue Cheese and Blueberries
This recipe was inspired by a salad served at The Caucus Room restaurant in Washington, DC.
ingredients
- 1 Bag Pre-washed Baby Spinach
- 1 Cup Blueberries
- 3 Tablespoons Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 2 Tablespoons Pine Nuts (or chopped pecans or walnuts)
- 2 Tablespoons Bacon Bits
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Newman’s Own Light Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing, to taste
- 1 Pound Steak

Season steak with salt and pepper and place on grill. In large bowl, toss all ingredients other ingredients.

When steak reaches desired temperature, remove from grill and allow to sit for three minutes. Slice against grain.

Arrange salad on plates and place steak slices on top or around salad. Serve while steak is still warm.
