Baked Eggs with Nippy Cheese Sauce
ingredients
- 3 T. butter
- 3 T. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 2 c. shredder cheddar
- 2 t. Worcestershire
- dash hot sauce
- dash cayenne pepper
- dash dry mustard
- 8 eggs

Melt butter, blend in flour, cook for a few moments.

Add milk, stir until thickened.

Mix in cheese and stir until blended.

Season with the rest of the ingredients.

Preheat oven to 350°.

Split half of the cheese sauce among 4 ramekins.

Break two eggs into each ramekin on top of the cheese sauce.

Pour remaining sauce carefully on top of the eggs, trying not to break the yolks.

Bake for 20-25 mins. or until sauce is bubbling and eggs are cooked through.
