Mexican Style Shredded Pork

ingredients

  • 1 (3 pound) boneless pork loin roast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 9 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 3 cups Pace salsa

    Place the roast in a dutch oven, and season with salt.

    Place remaining ingredients in the same pan.

  • 3

    Cover, and cook for 2 hours at 300 degrees.

    Remove roast from the oven. Let cool in the pan in the juices.

    Using two forks to shred. Allow shredded pork to sit at least 15 minutes to absorb some of the liquid. Serve with warm flour tortillas, hamburger buns,or use to make pork enchildas or taquitos.
