Lowcountry Boil
(This is a standard Lowcountry dish and can be made with any amount of ingredients depending on quantity of people serving)
ingredients
- Old Bay Seasoning
- garlic powder
- Shrimp
- new potatoes
- ears of corn (broken in half)
- sausage
- 1 onion

Fill a large pot with water.
- 2
Add Old Bay Seasoning and garlic powder to taste.

Add a whole cut up onion and 1 cup of vinegar.

Bring to a boil.
- 5
Add new potatoes and ears of corn (broken in half).

Add sausage on top – any kind you prefer – Keilbasa is good.

Boil all till potatoes are tender.

Add shrimp (with shells and tails on) on top and boil no more than 1- 2 minutes.

Place all ingredients onto platter for serving. It’s best to keep shrimp separate after plating so they won’t continue to cook being next to hot ingredients, if possible.

Serve with melted butter and enjoy!
