Asain Slaw
ingredients
- 1 head green cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp chili paste
- 3 Tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 stalks carrots, shredded
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4 scallion shredded
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds, for garnish
directions
Toss cabbage in large colander with salt and let sit over sink for 15 minutes. In a bowl, whisk together the vinegar, soy sauce, oil, chili paste, peanut butter and ginger. Toss with the cabbage, carrots, sprouts, scallions and salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds.
