Marsala Chicken
I like to make this as a quick “go to” meal. Serve it with pasta or mashed potatoes.
ingredients
- Chicken breasts
- Marsala wine
- Mushrooms
- Onions
- Olive oil
- Heavy cream
- Rosemary & Thyme
- Salt & Pepper
directions
Brown the chicken breasts in a pan on the stove. Remove to a plate and put the onions and mushrooms in the pan. Saute them with the herbs until soft but not mushy. Add the marsala wine to the hot pan and let boil down. Lower heat and add the heavy cream. Let everything come together and then add the chicken back in. Cover for about 7 minutes on a very low heat. Voila!
