Masala Lemon Chicken
ingredients
- Chicken - 1 lb (cut large)
- Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1 large
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Chili powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala - 1/4 tsp
- Yogurt - 4 oz
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Cilantro leaves
- Onion - raw, cut into rings

Grind together the onion, garlic and powders.

Mix the ground paste into the yogurt and add the salt.

Marinate the chicken in the yogurt mix for 4 hours (refrigerate while marinating)

Add marinated chicken into a non-stick pan and cook until the marinade has dried up and the chicken is almost cooked.

Add the oil and continue to cook the chicken until it is lightly browned.

Sprinkle lemon juice over the chicken right before turning the flame off.

Add the garnishes right before serving.
