Chocolate Sin

Gigi (Jarrod’s Grandmother) would make this for the “Drunks” down at the Friary, where she would volunteer. She often said those men got themselves into rehab just so they could have her dessert again.

ingredients

1 cup flour
1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup confectioners sugar
8oz cream cheese
13 oz cool whip
1 small package instant chocolate pudding
1 small package instant vanilla pudding
2 1/8 cup milk
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa

Blend flour, butter and pecans. Spread in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool.

Beat confectioners sugar, cream cheese and 1 cup cool whip. Spread on top of first layer.

Beat puddings, milk, and cocoa together until smooth. Spread on top of 2nd layer.

Spread remainder of 13oz package of cool whip over layer 3.

Refrigerate overnight.
