Tastes great with pork chops!

ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 oz pancetta, cut into strips
  • 2 15-oz cans cannellini or Great Northern beans, drained but not rinsed
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste

    Cook the pancetta in a skillet until crisp, about 3 minutes.

    Add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Add the beans and sage; cook, stirring occasionally, until the flavors are blended, about 10 minutes. Stir in the salt and pepper.
