Lo Mein
ingredients
- 1/2 lb. very fine noodles
- 1 package onion soup mix
- 2/3 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup minute rice
- 1 medium can mushrooms
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 2 cans water chestnuts
- 1 can french fried onion rings
- 1.5 cans chicken consomme (college inn)

Brown noodles in oleo, and add onion soup, plus clear consomme. Simmer.

Add rice, mushrooms, sprouts and water chestnuts. Let simmer for about 15 minutes.

Place in uncovered casserole diah, top with french fried onion rings, and bake about 20 minutes.
