Paige's Chookies
ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks salted butter softened
- 2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese and mix well
- 2 c. flour
- cayenne pepper
- 2 1/2 c. rice crispies cereal
directions

Mix softened butter, cheese, and flour. Then add the rice crispies and several strong dashes of cayenne pepper. The texture should not be too greasy - add a bit more flour if needed.

Roll into small balls and press down with a fork on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes - they should get just slightly golden. Let cool and store in airtight container in fridge - they keep for a few weeks. Just reheat in the oven at 300ish for 8-10 min.
