Pesto Basil
ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh basil destemmed
- 2 oz. fresh chopped garlic
- 2 oz. Parmesan cheese
- 3 oz. roasted pine nuts
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- olive oil
- Salt and pepper
directions
In a food processor chop the basil then add the garlic. Next add the Parmesan cheese. Once that is mixed in, add the pine nuts. While this is blending, in a steady stream, pour in the olive oil to desired consistency. Add the lemon juice, then add the salt ad pepper to taste.
