Nana's Stuffed Mushrooms
Another Thanksgiving must. Nana always made these for Thanksgivening. You can also use this recipe with small mushrooms for appetizers
ingredients
- 1 pkg Stuffing mushrooms
- 24 Ritz crackers crushed
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
directions

Remove stems and brush mushrooms clean.

Chop stems into small pieces.

Melt butter in medium sauce pan. Add mushroom stems and saute till soft.

Add crackers and cheese mix well.

With a tsp fill each mushroom cap with mixture.

Bake in a hot 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
notes
You can also add crab meat to the stuffing mix for a different touch. I add cooking sherry to the melted butter for a great flavor.
