Pasta with Peas
ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion thinly sliced
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 can peas (do not drain)
- 1 lb package ditalini pasta (salad macaroni)
- grated Parmesan Cheese
- salt and pepper

Cook pasta.

Meanwhile, heat oil in pan. Cook onion until soft. Do not brown. Add garlic, cook a few minutes longer. Add butter and peas with their juice. Cook until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Should be a little peppery.

Pour peas over pasta sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.
