Fred's Barbequed Ribs
The best ribs I’ve ever eaten that weren’t Chinese.
ingredients
- 3 pounds ribs (any style)
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup catsup
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 tablespoon orange rind, grated
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoon oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 3/4 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1. Arrange meat in baking pan in a single layer. Cook slowly (325) until brown, about 1 1/2 hours. Pour off fat.

2. Combine all ingredients for sauce in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

3. Pour over ribs and bake for 5 minutes or so, until sauce gets hot.
