Van Faussien Molasses Sugar Cookies (aka Ginger Snaps)
ingredients
- 3/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt

Mix oil, sugar, molasses, and egg; beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Chill.

Form in 1 inch balls, roll in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart.

Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes.
