Carbonara
ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/2 lb. cooked ham
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 (8 oz.) package thin spaghetti noodles
- 2/3 cup grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 eggs slightly beaten
- 6 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic

Cut bacon and ham in julienne strips. Brown bacon lightly in large skillet, drain fat, lay bacon on a paper towel.

Sauté ham and garlic in butter and oil 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add hot spaghetti, bacon, cheese, salt, pepper, and eggs. Toss quickly to coat spaghetti evenly. Sprinkle with parsley.
