Grilled Green Beans
Grilling in a soy marinade gives the beans a slightly charred appearance. They won’t be the prettiest dish on the table, but they sure taste good! For best results use a gril pan, or lay the beans perpendicular to the grid of the grill. (You can expect to lose a few!)
ingredients
- 1 Pound Green Beans, Ends Trimmed
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 Teaspoon Sherry or Chinese Rice Wine
- 2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
directions

Heat grill to medium. Lightly oil vegetable rack or grill rack. Place the beans in a shallow dish. Add all ingredients, and toss to coat.

Using tongs to remove the beans from the marinade, grill them 8 to 10 minutes, turning frequently.
