Creamy Potato Gratin
Scalloped Potatoes at their richest & most decadent.
ingredients
- 1 large garlc clove, halved
- 2 lbs. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- Coarse salt and freshly ground white pepper
- 1 cup Grated Beaufort or Gruyére cheese (about 4 oz.)
- 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1 c. whole milk
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Butter, for casserole dish
