Chicken Tetrazinni
Really rich but oh so good!
ingredients
- 7 oz spaghetti
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 Cup chicken broth (or dissolve 1 chicken bouillon in a cup of boiling water)
- 1 cup whipping cream (or any heavy cream)
- 2 tablespoons of cooking sherry
- 2 cups cooked chicken (cubed)
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
directions
Cook spaghetti according to instructions. Drain. Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour and seasonings. Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in broth and cream. Stir constantly boiling for 1 minute. Stir in sherry, spaghetti, chicken and mushrooms. Place in a 2-qt casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
