Slow cooker stuffing
ingredients
- 1 C butter- plugra
- 2 C onion -- chopped
- 2 C celery -- chopped
- 1/2 C parsley -- chopped
- 12 oz mushrooms -- sliced
- 12 C bread-stuffing -- cubed
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 lbs hot italian sausage
- 3 C chicken broth
- 2 eggs
directions
1. Cook sausage till browned, drain and reserve. 2. Melt butter in saute pan over medium heat. Cook onions, celery, mushroom, and parsley in butter. 3. In a very large bowl spoon saugage and vegetables over stuffing mix. Add seasonings and broth to moisten. Add eggs, beaten 4. Transfer to cooker and Cook on high for 45 minutes, then low for 4 to 8 hours.
