Rice Dressing
ingredients
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Hebert’s Grand Point Store - Dressing Mix (large pack)
- 2 med. Onions – chopped
- 1 cup Bell Pepper – chopped
- 1 heaping tbsp. dried parsley flakes
- 2 tbsp. roux
- Water
- Salt & Cayenne Pepper, too taste
- Cooked Rice

Place oil in large pot add dressing mix and brown well (adding a little water at a time – not to burn); add onions, bell peppers, and parsley flakes, sauté until transparent, then add roux and a little water at time until desired consistency.

Let simmer for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. I double this recipe then freeze in smaller portions.
