Eggs - Mom's Sausage Casserole
ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs sausage -- cooked and drained
- 9 large eggs
- 3 C milk
- 1 loaf french bread with crust -- broken into pieces
- 1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 1/2 C cheddar cheese
- dash salt
directions
Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt, beat slightly.
Layer 9 x 13 with pieces of french bread and then sprinkle with sausage. Top with 2/3 of the cheese and then pour egg mixture over the top to cover. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350.
