Great Grandmother’s Recipe
ingredients
- 1 package gelatin-dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- or 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon sherry
- 3 eggs-spearated
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
directions

Beat egg yolks and sugar.

Add scalded milk slowly and cook in double boiler until thick.

REmove from heat.

Add flavoring and gelatin dissolved in water.

Cool.

Add beaten egg whites and whipped cream.
