Chicken and Mushrooms
Crockpot Chicken recipe
ingredients
- 2.5-3 lbs of chicken (legs, thighs, etc)
- 2 tbsp of butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp of dry italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 6 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup dry sherry
- 1 chopped small onion
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 4 cups cooked rice or noodles

Brush chicken with butter.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle salad dressing mix on top. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hrs.

An hour before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, sherry and onion in a saucepan.

Cook and stir until smooth. Spoon over chicken. Add mushrooms to pot. Cover and cook for 30 mins longer.

Serve with rice or noodles.

Yields enough sauce, not dry.
