Dutch Cream Cheese Wafers

ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 3 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. finely chopped dried apricots or peaches

Cream butter and cream cheese; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Stir in flour and apricots; mix well.

Shape dough in a roll, 1 inch in diameter. Wrap in waxed paper and chill for 3 hours or until firm. Remove waxed paper, and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
