Two fudge recipes were found in Doris’ recipe box. Decide which one you like best! Grandpa Jones made this every Christmas season.
ingredients
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 T white corn syrup
- pinch salt
- 2 sq. chocolate
- 1 T butter
- 1 t vanilla
directions
Combine milk, sugar, corn syrup, salt and chocolate in saucepan and cook to soft-ball stage. Remove from fire, add butter and vanilla. Do not stir until cool to lukewarm , then beat till loses gloss. Pour in buttered pan.
